Monday to Friday braids and plats

It is impossible to avoid the braid at the moment! Every magazine I flip open, every fashion show I watch and every style blog I see, no one can get enough of the braid. So I have created a little style guide for you to show off your fashionista at work.

Monday:

This style is simple and perfect for a monday. It is easy to create, which is exactly what one needs on a monday, 'cause lets face it, we're still recovering from the weekend. Despite it's simpleness, this style owns a definite air of sophistication.

Tuesday:

So we're back into the swing of things, and everyones exited to roar through the week, impress the boss and make it to the weekend. Two plats is a very school girl look, it shows to everyone your eagerness to learn and may even impress your boss. If you want to jazz it up a little and you may need longer hair, grab a small clump of hair from the side of your head, plat it, then drape it over your head and pin it to the other side.

Wednesday:

So wednesday is often the hardest day of the week. Its neither at the beginning nor the end of the week and one can often lose spirit on this day.Puff up the front of your hair, then wrap a braid around your head. Do whatever with the back of your hair, curl it maybe or create an updo knot. It's up to you, but the more volume the better. The volume is to boost your mood; every time you look in the mirror you'll see how hot you look and it'll add a bounce in your step.

Thursday:

Drat. Its thursday. Just like wednesday, you can feel a little drab, however since yesterday you spent heaps long on your hair, today you really just can't give a... stuff. So today do a small simple braid at the back of your hair, leaving the rest of your hair out. Don't worry if its messy, because messy is trendy. If you want to add a little spice, add a hair clip or flower, and if you're really talented you could do a fishtail. It's up to you how energised you feel.

Friday:

Yay! It's Friday! Party on! So today I'm guessing you're ready for partays and you're probably in a much more energised mood. You'll probably want to reflect this in your hair, and the best way to do that is to choose a more daring and edgy hairstyle My favourite is to braid the front of your hair and bring it to a side plat. And the best thing about this style, is you can where it strait to the party's!
